How to scare mom and get good food in the process

So I wents several days not eating what I should. I's was eating enough, I spose, but not what I usually do at that stage in the chemo phase. I usually eats lots more. But I wasn't. So I got stabbed, and that only helped very marginally- this not good- I usually eats loads after a stabbing. So Mom and Dad put on their Worried Faces and kept shoving food in my face, and I still wouldn't eat much. They made me chicken, and I didn't even eat a lot of that. So Mom came home from the Hunting Place yesterday and had a giant bag of cans and a new bag of dry. Well, I ate half the new Beef Can and then mommy put out a few crumbs of the new Hairball Control dry. Well, I practically inhaled that, ate all the pieces in one big swoop! I looked like a vaccum cleaner!!! So Mommy filled up my other bowl with that, it was brimming with food, and when she came down this morning, there was some left, but she could see the bottom of the bowl! Mom and Dad are so happy that I was fine, just being a Picky Eater. This is apparently a common problem with chemo kitties- the chemo can make things taste funny to cats, and humans too.

UPDATE Sunday midday: I'm back to not wanting to eat again. Mom's been through tons of food with me, and I got stabbed, but I'm only nibbling. Mom's getting scared again. I have chemo tomorrow- hopefully nothing serious is wrong with me. Please purr for me.

Those pictures are great!

Glad to hear that your Mom found some food that you would eat! I like to do that to my Mom and I'm not on special medicine.

Good for them getting you special foods. I hear chemo is not fun, but you're handling it like a champ. And getting new foods that taste good to you. Way to go!
