Purr for me please-- vet visit

Today is my usual chemo day, the PTU is out in the living room and we will be leaving soon.
Mom is quite scared, because I've been seeming more and more tired each day. I'm still social and friendly, and I'll even play string for short bouts of time, but the rest of the time I'm just exhausted. I walk really slow, and when I sleep I'm not easily waken the way cats usually are. I'm also not particularly interested in food. If mom keeps plopping me in front of the food bowl, and offers me like 5 different things, eventually I eat an adequate amount of food, but something seems clearly wrong here. Mom thought I was being picky, but then she offered me the same stuff that worked the night before. I didn't touch the other half of that can, and it took me all day to eat only a small-average portion of dry. I eventually ate half of a different can.
Mom hopes that maybe the anemia is just making me not feel so good- she's read these symptoms can be caused by anemia. Hopefully that is all it is, and maybe she can finally convince the vet to give me a b12 shot, or some PAC cells, or whatever. For some reason, this vet seems to think anemia has to be like basement level before worth treating, we don't understand why...
The only thing consoling mom is that I don't cry when picked up- I like it! And I'm still social, not hiding. When I was sick with the cancer I cried a lot and hid, and of course had lumps. Mom can't find any lumps, but she doesn't know what cat kidneys should feel like, so if the cancer is in my kidneys mom won't know until it's bad enough that I cry when picked up again...
Mom really doesn't think this is just the side effects of chemo, even though the last drug I had is the one that seems to give me effects for the longest. Please all purr that nothing bad is found and that I feel better soon! I'll post an update this evening when I get back from my day-stay at the chemo place.
Love,
Texas

Oh Texas, we is purring really hard dat it is just a side effect of dat icky medi-sin. Tiny's vet seems to feel dat anemia needs to be taken sereeusly and keeps looking at his gums to make sure he's not. His gerls have discovered dat if dey mix chick-hen baby food into his stinky goodness he eats it all up. Maybe yoo would like some chick-hen baby food too?
